Lady was written by Billy Kay and Norman McCallum. It was written in Sacramento, CA.

We recorded it at Workshoppe Recording Studios in Douglaston, NY, with the talents of Jackie Martling, Kevin Kelly, Jeff Kracke, Stephanie Davy and Danny Infantino.

This is Billy's first power ballad.

Coming in at 5:59, it was not supposed to be an AM radio release, but listeners in Spain and Denmark played the track often enough where it was decided that the song should be available as a single.
Lady was released in Nashville on Valentine's Day 2014.

Lady Words & Music © by Billy Kay and Norman McCallum
Lady, you've taught me a lesson
Lady, no more second guessin'
You can love too much
You can loose touch
With what is real
With what the other one feels

Tomorrow, I'll rise with the morning
No more sorrows, falls hopes or longing
If you love too much
You can loose touch
With what is real
With what the other one feels

Lady, I want you for my friend
Lady, on these words you can depend
I'll try not to love to much
Try not to loose touch
With what is real
With what the other one feels |
